ESAA National Cross-Country Championships 2018
17 March at Temple Newsam Park, Leeds

Top ten results for all the Hampshire Schools' teams were a feature of the New Balance ESAA Cross Country Championships.

Henry McLuckie took the gold medal in the Intermediate Boys' race, leading the Intermediate Boys' team to sixth place. The Senior Boys' team, led home by Zakariya Mahamed in fourteenth, took the team silver medals, and the Senior Girls' team took the bronze medals, with Maddie Deadman finishing tenth and Maisie Grice thirteenth. Isabelle Hinkley, seventh in the Junior Girls' race led the Junior Girls' team home to fifth place, while the Hampshire and Vectis teams finished in fourth position in the Intermediate Girls' team and ninth in the Junior Boys' team events. These excellent team performances resulted in the Hampshire and Vectis teams coming second in the Girls' Aggregate Trophy and third in the Boys' Aggregate Trophy.
