Hampshire Athletics and Hampshire Schools Combined Event meeting - Wednesday 26th May

I am delighted to confirm that with restrictions lifting, ESAA are hopefully looking forward to holding the Schools Regional Combined Events finals in late June and the subsequent National Combined Events finals in September.

To support selection for the Regional Finals and in recognition that little or no schools track & field events have taken place for some time, HSAA are proposing to hold a joint Hampshire Athletics and Hampshire Schools Combined Event meeting on Wednesday 26th May. The event will be restricted to the Junior Age Group only (school years 8 & 9) and entry forms will be sent to schools in the normal way in the next few weeks and also put on the website. This will be a 4.30pm start to prevent athletes having to ask for time off school and it is hoped to finish by 8.30pm. Athletes MUST be entered by the school but may be accompanied by a parent or coach and not a member of staff. This must be only one person per athlete to comply with Covid regulations.
